Many of us spent our Friday nights at the Pirates Cove. For 10 cents we could spend a night of dancing and talking with our friends. Eloise Coe was our guest at our 40th reunion with Mrs. Schaible our 7th grade English Teacher. Miss Coe also took girls up to West Point to dance with the soldiers stationed there. My sister met her future husband on one of these trips. What was

I liked playing the 45 records and feeling cool knowing the kids at the CYO dance wanted to be at the Cove but weren't allowed because the likes of me was there!
